10 BOOKS TO READ DURING SOCIAL DISTANCING

Social distancing, coupled with working from home, means extra time to read! While I do absolutely love to Netflix + Chill, I’m really trying to limit my TV usage during the work week as having it on constantly makes me feel a little lazy and gross! During my “work hours” of 9am-5pm, I mainly listen to my playlists on Spotify. However, I do sometimes watch Live with Kelly and Ryan in the morning.

Additionally, I try to wake up at the same time I normally would if I were going to work. Since I no longer have to commute into work, I have extra time in the morning which I try to take advantage of by reading at least 30 minutes. In the evenings, Warren and I are trying to either watch a movie or a play game to stay occupied and then get in a little bit of reading before we turn out the lights.

If you’re like me, and wanting to try and get some more reading in, here are a few books I recommend to fill your time!

  1. The Dutch House (Ann Patchett)

  2. Where the Crawdads Sing (Delia Owens)

  3. Whisper Network (Chandler Baker)

  4. The Last Mrs. Parrish (Liv Constantine)

  5. All We Ever Wanted (Emily Griffin)

  6. Educated (Tara Westover) - currently reading!

  7. Mistress of the Ritz (Melanie Benjamin)

  8. What She Knew (Gilly Macmillan)

  9. The Husband’s Secret (Liane Moriarty)

  10. Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine (Gail Honeyman)
