ETSY FINDS: VINTAGE RUG EDITION

I recently purchased my first vintage rug off of Etsy and WOW, consider me obsessed. How fun is it to say you truly have a one-of-a-kind rug?! I’ve always loved vintage rugs but was overwhelmed with where to start as there are so many options. And in addition to that, I also didn’t know what was considered a “good price” on a good-condition, vintage oushak rug.

I follow many small shops on Instagram that source AMAZING vintage rugs but they were always too expensive for my small budget. Of course they need to make a profit, so their prices were an up-charge to what they originally purchased the rug for. To be honest, your best bet for finding a great deal on a vintage rug is your local flea market. But if that seems overwhelming to you, your next best bet is Etsy!

That’s where I purchased my aforementioned vintage rug and I was very pleased with the selections and prices. I rounded up my favorites that I stumbled upon in this post while I was searching for my now kitchen rug! I’m personally drawn to two types of rugs: colorful runners or larger area rugs with neutral, faded peachy or blue undertones. What’s your favorite style of rug?
