DISNEYLAND RECAP 2
On Saturday, our second full day at the park, my best friend and her hubby drove from LA to come meet us! It was truly the most fun day EVER! We stayed only in Disneyland the whole day and literally hit what feels like every ride!
We got there around 9am in the morning which is apparently THE time to go if you don't want to wait in lines!! I'm not even joking but we walked right up to our first four rides of the day WITHOUT a fast pass! So I would highly recommend getting to the park early to avoid some crazy lines!
Katie and I were walking around the park and were barely seeing any Disney princesses and we were getting so sad! Every time we ran into a character they were off to another location or to go on their break and wouldn't take photos with us! We were disappointed to say the least but we asked around and discovered that some Disney princesses were stationed at the castle! The five year old girls in us just had to go take some pics with them. And I meannn how cute is Cinderella and her prince charmings?! Framer for sure.
After a full day at the park, we headed back to our hotel and were in desperate need of a cocktail. We hung out by the pool with cocktails in hand until it was time to head back to Disney to see their magical fireworks show! Katie and I were not ready to leave the wine at home so we actually ended up buying some mini bottles of wine and snuck them into the park! Shh don't tell anyone!! It was actually a pretty hilarious night as you could hear the bottles clanking. To our dismay, Disney ended up canceling the fireworks show due to high winds (although we did not think it was windy AT ALL!)… but we didnt let it ruin the night and ended up riding another ride or two before calling it a night!
It was definitely the best birthday weekend yet!
