FAVORITE EASTER DRESSES
Happy Monday, friends! I had the most lazy and relaxing weekend EVER! As I mentioned on Instagram, I was very sick earlier in the week -- I self diagnosed myself with the flu (anyone else do that?!) I had very flu like symptoms - chills, fever, body aches, sore throat for a solid 2-3 days. By Friday I started feeling better but my symptoms transitioned into a chest cold, which often happens to me due to my asthma. I still have a lingering cough and head congestion but am feeling about 80x better!
W has been gone since last Wednesday for a bachelor party in Cabo (umm jealous!) and finally got back into SF last night. Although I missed him, it was so nice to also have a few days to myself. My girlfriend Courtney came over Wednesday and Thursday night for a sleepover and girl talk as her boyfriend was out of town on a work trip too! Normally when we're together we have one too many glasses of wine (we're both huge wine-os) but since I was so sick I couldn't drink any! I told W that and he said "you must be really sick if you aren't drinking any wine with court!" Which is SO true haha.
Then I had the whole weekend to myself which was an odd feeling as I haven't really slept in the apartment by myself since we moved here! But it was much needed me time. I slept in, cleaned the apartment, binged watched friends, and ran errands! Although I didn't do anything exciting, it was the best weekend I could of asked for. I feel refreshed and ready to take on this week!
I can't believe Easter is around the corner! Didn't it seem to just creep up this year?! This time last year, my brother had just gotten the cutest golden retriever puppy EVER! See the ball of fluff here. W and I won't be making the trip home to Texas for Easter this year as we will be there in two short weeks for two weddings! So we don't have any huge plans for Easter besides attending mass and going to a yummy brunch! I'm thinking I want to try this place. I've heard raving reviews but apparently the line to get a table is crazy long!
I didn't buy a special Easter dress this year since we don't have any big plans but all I am dreaming about is florals and pastels! But if we were doing something special for Easter, this would for sure be my dress. So obsessed with the lace overlay!
