Ok, so getting back into a routine has not been that easy. With a busy work week and friends visiting, I was only able to make it to class once! EEK. And after trying to put on one of my tight black pencil skirts and it barely zipping up (my Mom says it is the heat.. and my Mom is always right :) let's hope hehe), I needed some serious motivation to keep me focused when life gets busy.

I am taking it as a sign of fate when I found this amazing journal (I found my hardcover one at Target) and I'm seriously obsessed. Each day has a motivational quote, a place to write 3 things you are grateful for, your daily Fit goals, places for you to record your energy levels and mood, and plenty of journaling space on the side! I kept a food journal for a while when I was making all of my diet changes, but I started getting too obsessive and had to stop. I can already tell a more positive change with this one! I am not keeping track of everything I eat but rather more positive goals, keeping track of my daily supplements, and recording my overall energy levels. 

That is the beauty of this journal -- you can make it whatever you want! But I mean it this time.. see y'all at the barre! xoxo
