FLORAL KIMONO

Ugh y'all, I was Mayor of Struggle City yesterday. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and everything just seemed to not go right, including this photo shoot. I always like to do photo shoots at least a few days ahead of time so that I am not rushed with the shoot and can put in 110% percent. Well, after spending like two hours at the freaking Lexus dealership, I realized I had NOTHING to post for today! Way to go, B! So I frantically called W (thanks, babe!) and asked if he could shoot a look after work. Sounds simple, right? I already figured out my outfit and had a location in mind - should go smoothly.

Not so much. Tip #1 of a photo shoot: do not shoot right after work in uptown. LITERALLY everyone is out and about walking to happy hours, dinners, who knows. What felt like every two seconds we had to stop to let someone walk by. And then I made mistake #2: look at the photos. For me, I am so critical of myself and always think either " ugh, I look fat" or "crap I don't like my outfit" or just something negative. So put those two together = Blair was in a bad mood and got promoted from Mayor to President of Struggle City. Moral of the story? Know when to throw in the towel and call it a day. After maybe a few more shots we walked across the street to a sushi restaurant and had a glass of wine and some yummy edamame. Perfect end to a not so great day.
