SIMPLE ACCESSORIES
If my co-workers had to describe my typical workday outfit, I'm sure they would say I'm most likely to be spotted in (a) head-to-toe black or (b) an outfit that incorporates my tassel necklace. Both true. I can't even begin to explain my love for this necklace -- I probably wear it 3x/week!
When it comes to my jewelry, I am such a creature of habit. Less is more. I never take off my gold bangle or Nordstrom earrings (thanks Mom, these earrings are definitely in the running for best purchase ever) and tend to layer my delicate gold necklaces. Subtle accessories are a great way to bring out the key pieces in any outfit -- the white blazer vest is definitely the wow factor of this outfit.

I try to remember this quote from Coco Chanel every time I get dressed -- which is probably why I tend to be so conservative with my jewelry choices. So if you are going for a bold statement necklace, lose the earrings. Or if you are rocking your Kendra Scott statement earrings, lose the necklace. I promise you won't regret it!
