WHAT B WORE: NAPA VALLEY | DAY 1
Warren and I ended up sleeping in a little more than planned on Saturday (too many cocktails with the bestie the night before). We got on the road around 11am and drove straight to Saint Helena. The drive in was SO beautiful! Didn't even seem real. Once we got to Saint Helena, we stopped and had lunch at Gott's Roadside. Totally recommend eating lunch there! Their milkshakes are to-die-for! After lunch, we toured Schramsberg Vineyards, which is mainly a sparkling wine vineyard. The tour was so informing, I learned a lot about champagne. After the tour, W and I checked into our hotel, The Sunburst, in Calistoga. It was a super cool hotel - it is a motel that has been completely renovated with a cool modern/Palm Springs vibe. We unpacked and relaxed until our amazing dinner at Tra Vigne. On the way to dinner we just had to pull off the side of the road to take photos by this gorgeous vineyard as the sun was setting. Literally picture perfect! This restaurant is a MUST if you are ever in Saint Helena. Not only does it have the most savory food, it has the most romantic ambiance! W and I had a great table by the window that overlooked the gorgeous patio filled with strings of lights. Great ending to a great day!
